Sifting through the archives, a lost episode of the 5-Minute Flash, was discovered! Sure, it’s from like 3 weeks ago, but this is a rare occurence indeed. Listen to the never-before heard Flash that was supposed to air before New Years Eve and instead fell by the wayside. Rhett and John discuss some of the finest movies that take place on New Years Eve, or at least feature the occasion as a pivotal scene. Update: This is like the worst Flash ever. Lots of rambling, poor subject matter, interruptions by Kirkham, and Rhett going on about Bridget Jones’ Diary. Not our finest hour. Or five minutes.
On the latest 5-Minute Flash, John and Rhett show some love to the East Coast home base, Charlotte, North Carolina, and discuss some of the finest movies that have been filmed there. Didn’t know C-Town was such a hotbed of hollywood activity did you? Well, if you don’t know, now you know.
Side note: The picture above is of Queen Charlotte of England for which the City is named. She was first the princess of a territory in Germany called Mecklenburg-Strelitz, and, as a result, the present-day County in which Charlotte resides is Mecklenburg County. You’ve been told all of this so you can understand why Charlotte is known as the Queen City. It makes sense. Very logical. Cincinnati likes to think it’s the Queen City, and quite frankly most Americans probably recognize it as such more than Charlotte. However, there was no Queen Cincinnati. Ever. In fact, it is speculated that residents of the city liked where they lived and thought they would just name it the Queen City. Lame. Just remember that next time people start yapping about the Queen City. The QC is in NC - respect…
