Welcome back to another exciting installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett recovers from this past weekend’s Emmy production. Those giant award shows don’t just produce themselves you know. They take months of planning and preparation. It’s a carefully orchestrated symphony of manual labor and creative vision fused together by one man and one man alone. I think we all know who that man is (It’s Rhett). The video above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: no correct guesses so far, so let’s see if you can combine this next clue with the original and get a right answer:

Update II: no correct guesses so far – here’s your third, and final, clue:

Update III: no one got it. You guys are off your game. Getting lazy and complacent – and that’s when the Chinese come in and take it from you. Look sharp people, next week is a new game. The correct answer was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off - the tale of a young man skipping school to attend Cubs games, eat at fancy restaurants (under the alias Abe Froman) and look at priceless works of art, all the while eluding the pursuit of that crafty Principal Rooney. It’s a story for the ages. Since none of you got it, that means I win. Taste it. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another brand new installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett begins his exploration of Jupiter’s third Galilean moon, Ganymede. He may find the key to solving the world’s inevitable energy crisis. We don’t have a space program capable of such a mission? Your naivety amuses me. Rhett will continue to explore new frontiers while the rest of us ponder which value meal to have for lunch (I like #5). As always, the picture above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck.

Update: no correct guesses so far. See if this next clue helps you at all:

Update II: no correct guesses so far and I got sidetracked and didn’t do a good job of updating the clues last week. We’ll keep rolling with this GTM and I may do an unprecedented fourth clue if need be. Keep on guessing, here’s clue #3:

Update III: We have a winner! The correct answer was 28 Days starring Sandra Bullock. This one is about a charming but troubled girl and her trials and tribulations as she goes through a stint in rehab. It’s not the one about zombies. That’s 28 Days Later. It would be sweet if there was a movie about zombies in rehab. Think about it. Congratulations to this week’s winner, Meredith H. Be sure to tell all your friends how great you are, but only for this week, since I’ll be suspending your greatness for not allowing me to post a 4th clue for the first time ever. Thanks a lot. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another exciting installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett continues to make crowds literally weep playing the lead in an off Broadway production of Wicked. Sure it’s a part usually reserved for a female, because it’s a female character, but Rhett has blurred the line of acceptable gender roles with his genius. Genius I tell you. As always, the picture above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: we have a winner! The correct answer was This is Spinal Tap, where everything goes to eleven when you really want to rock it out. Even when your Stonehenge props come out a bit smaller than expected. Congratulations to Brooks for being this week’s winner – looks like Hales couldn’t get it done without his GTM PEDs. Be sure to tell are your friends how great you are, Brooks, but for this week only, since next week you’ll have run out of beginner’s luck and will be forced to prove your true movie knowledge. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another exciting installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett continues training to become a champion Muay Thai kickboxer. He has become the number one contender by ascending the ranks of the underground circuit, participating in “The Winner Is The One Who Isn’t Dead” matches in Bangkok and has a promising chance at becoming the undisputed Cruiser Weight Champion of the Mae Hong Son province. We’re all very excited. Your first clue is the picture above, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: we have a winner! (sort of). The correct answer was Rocky, however our winner, Hales, did admit to using Google to aid in his quest for the answer – discovering that Rocky’s turtles were indeed named Cuff and Link. There is no official rule prohibiting use of the internet, and I suspect it has been used in the past, so Hales will remain our winner for the week, but is subject to your complaints in the comments section. Be sure to tell all your friends how great you are Hales, but for this week only, since everyone now knows your dirty secret. And I’m not even talking about using Google to win GTM. You know what you did. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another exciting installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett continues his experimental testing of dream-entry technology. Oh, you thought Inception, was science fiction? Just keep telling yourself that next time you’re dreaming of a centerfold sandwich at the Playboy mansion and Rhett approaches you with a silenced handgun asking about some of your inner-most thoughts. I suggest just telling him what he wants to know, lest you wish to dream of unpleasant spinal realignments. The picture above is your first clue, leave your guesses in the comments section, and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: no correct guesses so far, but Pretty in Pink was a good attempt. You guys are back on your game. Here’s your next clue:

Update II: we have a winner! The correct answer was White Men Can’t Jump where Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes have to play playground legends Duck and King for supremacy of the court and Harrelson has to hit an impossible long-range hook shot for Gloria to get on Jeopardy. Much to his chagrin, he has to shoot on the Sudan and not Ghana. Congratulations to this week’s winner, Paugh. be sure to tell your friends how cool you are, Paugh, but for this week only, since next week not being cool will be the new trend. Thus making it cool? Confusing. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another exciting episode of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett tours the Orient in search of the mysterious Jade Kimono Dragon. At first I thought he was just looking for a green kimono and I thought he might be dabbling in cross-dressing, but I was wrong. He’s searching for treasure. Possibly buried treasure. Rhett is Indiana Jones. The picture above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: we have a winner! The correct answer was City Slickers featuring everyone’s favorite calf Norman. Congratulations to the ever-wise Neal for only needing one clue to take it down. Double rainbows to you, sir. Be sure to tell all your friends how great you are Neal, but for this week only, because next week you might not be so great. Think about it. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to another exciting summer installment of everyone’s favorite movie trivia game: GTM-OE. I’m happy to be guest-hosting while Rhett tests a new vaccine that will cure blindness and type 2 diabetes at the same time. On himself. All you type 1 sufferers hang tight – he’ll get that one too. The video above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: Only two guesses so far? Two? People on vacation, I guess. Well, neither of them are correct so here’s your next clue:

Update II: you guys are doing awesome – one additional guess. An incorrect one at that. Maybe Bobcats minority owner Nelly will inspire you. Here’s your final clue:

Update III: no one got it. That means I win, so good for me. the correct answer was Forces of Nature starring America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock. Nature! It’s why I come up here. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week. Hopefully you guys will use your down time to brush up on your trivia skills. Or skillz. Those are important too.

Even though we only had four guesses, that’s all we needed, so congratulations to CC for being this week’s winner. Be sure to tell all of your friends how great you are CC, but for this week only, because next week is America’s week and America doesn’t want to share with you. Also, welcome back to Hales who finished serving his suspension and participated admirably. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week.

Welcome back to antoher exciting installment of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett continues his campaign in South Africa through the “Bloggers Without Borders” program. Is that what we are, bloggers? Either way, he’s using his celebrity status to make a difference while the entire world is focused in one place. As always, the picture above is your first clue, levae guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good luck…

Update: we have a winner! The correct answer was the Harrison Ford thriller Witness, which earned him the only Oscar nomination of his career. Hard to believe Han Solo and Indiana Jones has only garnered one nomination. Travesty. Congratulations to Neal for being this week’s big winner. Welcome back to another riveting episode of GTM-OE. I’m happy to be back guest-hosting while Rhett perfects his Guitar Hero technique so he can achieve immortal-rock-god-icon status and then get his own version of the game created. Look for Guitar Hero 7 – Mr. Nichol’s Opus to be released this fall (Now with Rhett’s actual likeness!). Anyway, the picture above is your first clue, leave guesses in the comments section and I’ll update as necessary. Good Luck…

Update: we have a winner! The correct answer was The Goonies – an awesome movie with awesome characters (my favorite is Data) and a reminder that, at one time, Corey Feldman was a very promising young actor. Seriously, how great is Mouth in that movie? Congratulations to this week’s winner CC. Be sure to tell all your friends how great you are, but for this week only, because I’m cancelling your greatness next week for all of the negative comments you’ve made about England these past few days. And as for PCC2C reader Hales, you are banned from playing GTM for one week for your egregious and wanton disrespect. Fear the Three Lions. Thanks to everyone for playing and I’ll see you back here next week. Except for you, Hales. Fear them so good…
